27th july 2007Day a hundred and five.
everyone seems to have dyed or highlighted their hair. almost everyone in every single class. it's really a prominent sight in college- you have students walking in with pink, red, green, some purple and the rest are brown or blonde. GOSH. im so envious. HAHA.
ive gotten back most of my marks, well okay all of them since im only taking five subjects which was already the maximum. somehow i just miss singapore's grading of the alphabets. ( okay i might seem as though im for singapore's education system but trust me- when it comes to education, seriously, choose singapore;D they help you get nicer grades.) oh wells. i guess over here no one really cares much if you get a B or C. hardly anyone aims for an A. and to get an A over here, its 76 and above. no kidding- i used to be lucky every once to be on the borderline of an A back home in singapore scoring a 75 on the margin.
that's how lucky i can get.i never did like thursdays. well not once at all since it ended late on these days and i hate catching the bus late home, the sun usually sets at about 4.30 in winter. that's how bad it is. and somehow, these past few days, it's been raining cats and dogs. not good. consider yourself lucky if it rains on the bus instead of when youre walking home. the most irritating thing is, when youre halfway walking home and it just pours really heavy only to have it stop when you reach shelter. gosh! ( you just want to jump into the puddle and scold your luck for being 'so nice' to you)
the econs' lecturer didnt come today- woohoo! we had like two hours of free period without any teacher to take over since there was a shortage of teachers then. let me say this, two hours of free period
is really long. well you never do realise when youre always somehow dozing off in his classes or just crossing your fingers under the table, glancing at the clock every 10 minutes and hoping, just wishing that time would pass by soon enough. we went to the library with the initial plan to do homework but we found ourselves clean of homework- either the teachers havent gone through the new chapters or when you just read through them, you cant get nuts of what the chapter is all about ( i think i'll just stick to waiting for the teacher to cover the lesson in class) so we're all clean of homework, you have a bunch of girls there in the learning centre with nothing to do, so when that happens, what do you get? bitching and crapping. okay i'll leave the bitching aside- because it wasnt that bad either. HAHA.
