26th august 2007Day a hundred and thirty five.
we were late for church today. the bus had to take a road diversion due to the construction works of a new overhead bridge. praise the lord! ( at least now we dont have to run across the road to get to the other side) we had to take a 15 minute walk down the lanes to reach the church.
they had a celebration of the first holy communion for the young ones. the decorations were up, the music choir up and singing and the crowds at church were unbelievable. we came late, missing all the readings and the gospel only to come in time for the communion itself.
the girls were dressed in white the guys in white collared shirts and black pants. some had tiara's and others flower wreaths. when i had mine, i had a flower veil like all the other girls. i miss my holy communion!
after church, charmaine was dying to try out the swings by the park nearby so we gave our bus a miss only to catch the next one arriving half an hour later. she was pratically whinning but she does it a whole lot better than me;D she claimed it was unfair that all the other playgrounds had swings whereas our didnt.

we took turns on the swings. my tummy hurt from it so i gave it up after a few minutes.

i admit. at this point, i was afraid of heights. the winds were blowing so strongly i felt likei was going to fall off the swing.

gosh;D finally, can i pass it over to you already?

i'll fit this tree into the palm of my hands!

now you get how strong the winds were today? VERY.

i like my converse tongues! GREEEN...

we both got bored and started to draw in the sand.

boy meets girl. girl meets boy. i didnt draw what happened next though;D

like i said. i was just bored. the 'g' is meant to be bigger - it's a hook SMART IDEA HUH?
the winds were crazy. it was blowing so strongly that charmaine nearly flew backwards. ( see, that's the cause for not eating as much as i do) HAHA. we braved the cold winds and rains together. it was hell. armed with an umbrella, i had to sail our way through the winds facing the umbrella in the direction of the winds. it was tiring, since the winds kept on changing their directions. fickle minded them. it seemed to amuse them though seeing us laugh our way through whenever the winds changed directions making us change the directions we walked.
other than the umbrella, i had to pull along a heavy 43kg girl who said her feet ached and that she couldnt walk straight in those shoes of hers. who told her not to buy converse shoes. HAHA. gosh, she really walks very slow. you could be like 30 steps in front of her and yet she's still back there taking pictures of spring flowers growing by the pavement. i shallnt say anymore, she might just kill me.
im not looking forward to next week. hell loads of tests coming up.
i dont like tests. i dont like being a nerd.
